At the start of COVID-19 in Europe, governments and private companies faced a severe shortage of masks. Needs were immense, timelines critical: how to quickly deliver colossal volumes of medical freight from China to Europe? For Dynami Aviation OPS, the answer came down to a single aircraft: the Antonov AN-225 Mriya<\/strong>, the largest cargo aircraft in the world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our team organized a series of flights between Tianjin (TSN)<\/strong>, Vatry (XCR)<\/strong> and Shannon (SNN)<\/strong>, mobilizing the AN-225 to meet the emergency and carrying about 140 tonnes of masks on the TSN-XCR route and 120 tonnes on the TSN-SNN route. Well below the AN-225’s 250-tonne maximum payload, not due to lack of performance, but because the masks took up mostly volume rather than weight.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
