Overview
The Fairchild Metro II is a small pressurized twin-turboprop, the initial version of the Metro family which became a reference in light regional transport. It offers a payload of 1.2 t and a range of 2,318 km.
Developed by Swearingen and later Fairchild in the 1970s, the Metro II was one of the first pressurized regional twins accessible to small commercial operators.
Its pressurized cabin, rare for an aircraft of this size at the time, allowed more comfortable and faster flights at altitude than its non-pressurized competitors.
The Metro II remains used for regional light freight and feeder missions requiring low operating costs.
Dynami Aviation OPS can mobilize a Metro II for your local light freight needs.
